MANGA MASTER: KAWAII

Here we present a modern drawing manual apt for the general public that is useful for all those wanting to improve their illustration and digital coloring skills.
Kawaii designs are characterized by simple rounded structures, basic geometric shapes and unsophisticated finishes where solid colors, pastel tones and thick lines are predominate. Miffy, a little Dutch rabbit tremendously popular in Japan, was its main influence. The references used for the layouts in the exercise illustrations have been taken from promotional images of anime series (Japanese animated cartoons) and video games, which tend to have been finished in a way that is better suited to design purposes.
